Allow
me to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Minnesota and graduated
from Wayzata Senior High in Wayzata, Minnesota. I lettered in three varsity
sports: basketball, baseball and soccer. I graduated from Arizona State
University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science;
my minor was in cultural geography. In 1993, I received a
post-baccalaureate in secondary education, and I also earned my master's
degree in Educational
Leadership from Northern Arizona University in 2001.
This
is my eleventh year teaching at Mountain Pointe. The classes I have taught
include World Geography, World History, World History/Geography, Honors
World History/Geography, AP World History, AP European History, Honors Economics
and United States/Arizona Government. I believe Mountain Pointe is a great
learning center with an outstanding faculty and staff.
