Book Review

There are four books to read throughout the year in AP World History. One book each quarter. The purpose of the books is not add extra work, but to give additional insights into the topics discussed during the class. Please check the syllabus for the due dates for each book.

There are two components for each book: one is a study guide or project guide, two is a 500 word summary of the book. The summary is not how you felt about the book, but about the book itself.

First Quarter - In The Wake Of The Plague
Second Quarter - Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World
Third Quarter - Cod
Fourth Quarter - Things Fall Apart

The books are available in the school library and public library. They are all in print and available at your local bookstore if you wish to purchase the book.
